At Gary Price Wigs I offer a collection of ready to wear wigs from my private room on the third floor of Selfridges, London, in the Daniel Galvin Salon. I handpick every piece from leading wig manufacturers, so I only supply the best wigs on the market.
The collection includes lace front, monofilament and hand tied wigs in real human hair and premium synthetic fibres. Styles range from short crops to long layers, in natural, rooted, highlighted and grey shades.
If a colour and style match is in stock, you can purchase the wig on the same day. If necessary I can adjust it and style it to suit your needs. This is ideal if you are about to start chemotherapy, if you are experiencing sudden hair loss, or if you do not want to wait three to four months for a bespoke wig. If your shade is not in stock, I can order it in for you.
Human hair wigs look and feel like your own hair. You can blow dry, curl and restyle them, and with good care they last longer than synthetic wigs. They do need styling after each wash, just like natural hair. Synthetic wigs are easier to look after. They hold their style after washing, so they are ready to wear once dry, but on average they need replacing after about six months. Some synthetic wigs are heat resistant and can be styled with heated tools up to 120°C. I will help you choose the option that best suits your lifestyle and budget, and I will always recommend the wig that is right for you, not the most expensive one.
The best wig is one that fits comfortably, matches your colouring and looks natural. I have many years of experience helping clients with hair loss caused by alopecia, chemotherapy and thinning hair. My consultations are private and unhurried. I offer wigs at a range of price points, and wigs needed for medical reasons are exempt from VAT (20%).
